A Statement on Covid-19 from Calvary Baptist Church
Calvary Baptist Church is committed to the spiritual, physical and mental health of the entire congregation. We are taking every safety measure of precaution in response to the Covid-19 global pandemic. This is an insistent matter that cannot be taken lightly but with the utmost urgent response.
To best ensure overall safety, “Social Distancing” must be practiced. Therefore, Calvary Baptist Church will continue to suspend All Ministry meetings, activities, and worship services until further notice.
I am working with the Calvary leadership to provide alternative options for keeping us spiritually connected as a church family. Although in person gatherings have been suspended we will stream the sermon this Sunday at 11:00am as last Sunday. We are aggressively working to improve the quality of our services that are streamed. Please be patient as we navigate through this time of strategic planning.
Finally, I must remind you that God is with us and has promised never to leave or forsake us. During this time of testing, I would encourage each household, each family to establish consistent prayer within the home. I further encourage each family to meditate on Psalm 127.
Let us continue to pray with other Christians globally that God would speedily heal the land.
Because of Him!
Dr. Oscar T. Moses, Pastor, Calvary Baptist Church
