“Elizabeth
and
Zacharis,
Faithful
Stewards”

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judæa, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. [6] And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. [7] And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

Luke 1:5-7 KJV

During the reign of Herod king of Judea, there lived a priest named Zechariah who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah, and he had a wife named Elizabeth, who was a descendant of Aaron. [6] They were both righteous in the sight of God, following all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly. [7] But they did not have a child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both very old.
