Deuteronomy 6:7 KJV
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
We are beginning a new Church year with new officers and new goals. We are determined to emphasize the “Family, God’s First Institution.” We believe that together we can become all that God wants us to be. Adults need to step up and children need examples. Please join us by working on yourself toward the changes that need to be made. Remember you will find the other person so much easier to get along with when you are ready. In Genesis 1 and 2, God made man, male and female and brought them together as one. Psalm 133.1 reminds us, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” That means we must find the time to study, pray, and eat together. Deuteronomy 6 teaches us to train our children in every setting. As a congregation, we not only talk but walk in the ways God wants us. We set good examples for others to follow. Let’s get started now and we will be surprised how far we can get. May God bless you along the journey!
